You will be supplied with everything necessary to successfully remove and bypass the EGR cooler, including detailed instructions. This kit can be difficult to install due to the location of the EGR cooler and may take several hours. We recommend installation by someone with mechanical experience.

How can I be certain which kit to order?
Check your vehicle for an EGR cooler bypass valve above the exhaust manifold. This listing is for vehicles WITH the egr cooler bypass valve as pictured.
Are the PX Ranger kits actually different?
Yes, the hardware is different between PX1, PX2 without DPF and PX2 with DPF.
Do I need to have my ECU retuned/remapped?
We recommend to have the engine ECU retuned/remapped in conjunction with this kit.
What will happen if I don't have my ECU retuned/remapped?
The vehicle is still operational however you will eventually experience a check engine light with fault code P0402 - EGR Excessive Flow Detected and notice extra turbo flutter or compressor surge.
What if I have modified my vehicle, eg. replaced the exhaust system?
Order the kit depending on how your vehicle was manufactured, before any modifications.
